With over 25 years of experience, Diane is a development professional with strong cultivation and organizational skills. She is able to identify core constituencies, develop philanthropic value and work in a team environment. Diane has extensive experience in capital campaigns, major gifts, prospect management, special events, planned giving, grant writing, annual fund, volunteer groups, foundation and board development, moves management, budgeting, strategic planning, database, membership, internet fundraising, supervisory experience and computer skills. She has taught fundraising and strategic planning at seminars and through classes for nonprofit management leaders. Diane has served in leadership positions on the boards of several arts organizations for over two decades, often as a volunteer, and in international environments before turning her professional skills and sales and marketing background into a fulfilling career as a fundraising professional. She focuses on campaigns and unleashing an organization’s philanthropic potential through team synergism. Diane has served on the executive committee and boards of several nonprofit institutions.
She served in various consulting positions for Capital Quest, Inc., a national fundraising consulting firm specializing in conducting comprehensive feasibility studies and multi-million dollar capital campaigns for nonprofit organizations. She possesses strategic thinking and analytical skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain multiple, unique client relationships while maintaining a strong work ethic and attention to detail, creativity and a sense of humor.
She is a past Director of Development for the Holocaust Museum Houston, Rice University, University of Houston Law Center, Menninger Clinic and is a former Executive Director of Executive Service Corps of Houston. Additionally, she worked for six years with Christie’s Auction Sales in Hong Kong.
