AJ Durrani retired from Shell in 2011 after a 34-year career. In his last position, he was Regional Resource Volumes Manager for Shell-USA Unconventional Resources. In this position, he was responsible for reserves and resource management and reporting for North & South America. AJ holds an MS degree in Petroleum Engineering from Penn State University. AJ has lived in Houston since 1984. In addition to volunteering at ESCH, AJ is active in Katy ISD, his Homeowner’s Association and other charitable and civic organizations.
ESCH Experience: AJ joined ESCH in February 2011 and since then has helped several nonprofits through training and/or management consultation services. AJ also serves on the Training & Marketing committee for ESCH. Some of his recent clients and projects include FB ISD/Headstart, University of Houston, and SIRE. The FB ISD/Headstart Ridgewood program is an enterprise that provides early childhood development and parental support via to multi-agency collaboration in an impoverished neighborhood, and who had requested ESCH assistance in developing a short term and long term strategy to manage the various and diverse entities involved in this collective effort. That strategy development has been completed and now is in its implementation phase with ESCH assistance.
