December 18, 2013 - Wednesday Starting a Nonprofit Organization: Half-Day Workshop - NEW! Houston, Texas - Leisure Learning Unlimited, Inc
This
is a wonderful opportunity for those that have begun the work of forming a
nonprofit corporation beginning with a draft of the Certificate of Formation with
the Texas Secretary of State and completed a draft of the IRS Form Application
(IRS Form 1023) to apply to the IRS for an Internal Revenue Code § 501(c)(3)
tax exemption for the nonprofit.
At
this workshop an ESCH consultant will review your drafts or filings with the
secretary of state and/or the IRS and answer any questions you may have about
those filings. Spend a half-day with an
ESCH consultant who is an attorney in private practice to help you take your
nonprofit idea and make it a reality. With
the right tools, you can be on your way giving back to the community and the
population you wish to serve.
What to bring to workshop are your drafts of the
following:
1. Your Certificate of Formation; and
2. Your Form 1023, Application For 501
(c)(3) tax exemption.
